W. Ray Williams
Ray owns his own employee benefits insurance brokerage agency in Savannah. He specializes in working with employers to develop and maintain an attractive, yet affordable plan of benefits for employees. Ray works with employers of all sizes. He also specializes in helping individuals with health, life and disability insurance. He is licensed with many insurance companies so as to bring variety to his clients.
Ray has an undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and a Master’s Degree from Georgia State University. Before becoming an independent broker, Ray worked for 11 years at Memorial Health in Savannah in managed care. Before Memorial, Ray worked in a variety of health related and employee benefits positions in an Atlanta hospital, in a Fortune 500 company and for a national voluntary health organization. Ray spent 8 years working in corporate wellness and brings that expertise to his clients.
Ray is very active professionally, in the community and in his Church. He has a sincere love of animals and has become an active volunteer in the The Humane Society for Greater Savannah over the last two years. Ray recently began serving on The Humane Society for Greater Savannah’s Board of Directors. Ray is married, has four sons, two grandchildren.
Carolyn J. Williams
Carolyn is a partner in W. Ray Williams & Associates, Inc. and provides all administrative and customer service for our clients. She prepares quote requests and works directly with all insurance companies to resolve individual and employer problems with the insurance companies we represent. Carolyn is primarily engaged in consulting with individuals in the selection of an individual health insurance plan.
Carolyn had extensive experience in accounting having worked over 18 years for companies where she was involved in all aspects of accounting, payroll, and human resources.
Carolyn is very active in her church and in the The Humane Society for Greater Savannah.
Matt Usher
Matt Usher began his career in the employee benefits and insurance business in 2006. Matt has worked in several different roles over the years and has used those experiences to understand every aspect of the employee benefits business.
He has embraced the Affordable Care Act and prides himself on understanding the various provisions of the law that he can better educate his clients about what it means to them.
Matt is a graduate of Benedictine Military School and the Terry College of Business School at the University of Georgia (degree in risk management and insurance). He resides in Savannah, GA with his wife Kelli and daughter Ella Scott.
